Brings together three practioners who have a specific interest in objects as things-in-themselves; each has a particularly strong attitude toward the placement of objects into their surrounding space. Kwan Guan Lee will screen his haunting short film from ‘the Other Room. Paul Shepheard,will describe "The war of creation and evolution: Ben Sweeting explores the relation between architecture and everyday life and the corresponding relation between design and ethics: 15th December Eastern Spaces Perspectives from the far East: a look at how eastern spacial practice might differ from our own. Artist and writer Graham Cooper will be joined by three other speakers to explore this theme. Recent Lecture Synopsis October Brutalism and Militarised Space Journalist Rory O'Callaghan, artist Mathew Flintham and architect Carol Mancke explored the relationship between Brutalist Architecture and militarized spaces.
